SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (April 3, 2017) — The Inn on Westport is excited to announce that Donna King is stepping into a new role as community relations ambassador. Donna King led the senior living community as executive director since 1996 until she retired in January.

“It has been an honor to be the executive director of The Inn on Westport since its opening 20 years ago,” said Donna King, Executive Director. “I am proud to continue to make a meaningful contribution to the lives of our beloved seniors here in Sioux Falls at The Inn on Westport.”

Donna is an incredibly inspirational figure not only to her longtime staff, but also to the many senior residents and their families in Sioux Falls who she served in her tenure.

Kyrsten Fokken transitioned into the executive director role in January. She began working at The Inn on Westport in 2004 as director of community outreach. In early 2016, Kyrsten began working alongside Donna King for a one-year administrator-in-training position. Kyrsten and Donna report they are pleased to have this new opportunity to continue their collaboration.
